At Conveyor Group, we manage our own powerful in-house web servers, email systems and security firewalls on a dedicated high speed direct Internet Backbone connection (Not DSL or Cable). We use top-of-the-line Cisco Systems routing and switching equipment and a bank of Dell PowerEdge rack-mount servers. Our goal in offering in-house hosting is to provide our clients with bundled services that rival or exceed those of national site development and web hosting companies. Conveyor Group is able to do this for fees that are more than competitive with those huge companies, while providing local one-on-one customer service and quality, custom-tailored solutions. And, unlike other local service providers that offer hosting as a by-product, we do not provide internet access - so your site is not sharing its connection and bandwidth speed with hundreds of web surfers. In addition, we have developed our own software systems and online tools using non-proprietary industry standards to offer more refined and functional products.
Because we are local and our services are contained under one roof, Conveyor Group is in control of your website at all times - there is no middleman. Conveyor implements a policy of maximum redundancy with all of our systems. All sites are backed-up on a daily basis to archival tape and are then taken off site for a one week period every Friday afternoon. Our servers also include redundant hard drives, power supplies and network connections. Our entire server system sits on top of a very large APC uninterrupted power supply system (UPS) to keep things running in power outages and brown-outs. Our annual system uptime currently exceeds 99%.
We offer a wide range of low-cost hosting and email packages which are all completely customizable. For clients who choose us for their hosting needs, we also offer extremely discounted site maintenance packages.
